Senior Associate
Felix completed his Juris Doctor degree from the Australian National University in 2021 and was admitted to practice law at the ACT Supreme Court in August 2022.
Working at Maxwell & Co, he has cultivated extensive experience across a broad spectrum of legal areas, including residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial litigation, commercial and corporate transactions such as leasing, business sales and purchases, franchise agreements, and shareholder agreements, as well as wills and probate, and family law.
Felix is recognised for his precise attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills, qualities that drive him to achieve the best results for his clients. He prioritises establishing strong personal connections with his clients, dedicating time to understand their needs thoroughly and advocate passionately on their behalf.
Solicitor
Ankur was admitted to practice law in the ACT Supreme Court in 2021. He holds two master’s degrees and three bachelor’s degrees, including qualifications in law from both India and Australia.
His practice focuses on property and commercial law, covering residential and commercial property transactions, business sales and purchases, and leasing matters across NSW and ACT. He also assists clients with a range of other civil and criminal matters.
Ankur is recognised for his meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, consistently achieving excellent outcomes for his clients. He values building genuine client relationships, taking the time to understand their needs, and advocating for them with dedication and care.
Solicitor
Betsy holds a Juris Doctor from the Australian National University. She is admitted as a solicitor in the ACT (in 2025) and works primarily in conveyancing, assisting clients through property transactions with clarity, care, and attention to detail.
Betsy also provides support in family law and probate matters, where her calm and considered approach is highly valued. Her experience across different areas of law helps her anticipate issues and offer practical solutions.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Betsy is well-placed to assist a diverse client base and is committed to making the legal process more accessible and straightforward.
Paralegal
Rick is a paralegal in the conveyancing team and a final-year student completing a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Information Technology.
He supports residential and commercial property matters by assisting with contract preparation, searches, and file progression. With a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, he enjoys helping ensure transactions run smoothly and efficiently. Rick values clear communication and takes a practical, client-focused approach when working with both clients and the legal team. He enjoys meeting new people and believes that good legal support starts with making clients feel comfortable and informed. With a background in information technology, he brings a structured and methodical approach to managing files and processes.
Outside of work, he spends time fishing along the coast, where patience and timing matter just as much as they do in conveyancing—his current personal best is a 1.2-metre sand shark.
Legal Assistant
Alice’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Australian National University. She possesses a strong problem-solving mindset, adept at identifying customer needs and issues, and offering solutions with both experience and enthusiasm. Alice is known for her attention to detail, diligent work ethic, and commitment to high standards, which are consistently demonstrated in her professional endeavours.
She joined Maxwell & Co in June 2024 and has been assisting with conveyancing matters. In addition to her professional skills, Alice is multilingual, fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with friends, making the most of her spare moments.

Jina focuses on supporting the conveyancing team with care attention to detail. She aims to assist in delivering smooth administrative support of all stages of property transactions. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she is able to assist with multilingual communication needs for clients. Jina also collaborates effectively with the team to ensure tasks align with the firm’s professional standards and requirements.
She is eager to build expertise through the processes of learning and is committed to expand her knowledge to better support both the team and clients.
